All download links to should point to .org #135
Description
Following #130 and @iangilfillan 's answer, I think that all download links should point to .org, not .com. Reasons:
- .com doesn't have all downloads (specifically old ones and non-LTS). Even if I follow a link to download a specific version, it's silly not to show me all the available versions.
- Having different pages for download is error-prone for the documentation editors, and leads to bugs like the one I mentioned.
- And confusing for users.
Maybe the motivation for the current links is increasing sales, but confusing users and making mistakes rarely helps.
