Typing inside marimo notebooks

Because the import of Path is wrapped in a function, Pylance does not seem to recognize that the import happened.

Any advice on how to deal with this? It's a minor annoyance.

Ruff seems to be fine with it.

I typically move top-level imports to a setup cell. I'm sure that's insufficient for some cases, so open to others' opinions too.

now it's not in a function, so downstream Path is recognized

I think we'd discussed some kind of language server "code action" to try to help lifting up various modules/imports into setup cell automaticaly.
