Check for updates weekly - still checking daily?

In the settings, I have "Check for package updates periodically" turned on, and "Check for updates every" set to "Weekly". UniGetUI still prompts to install an AWS CLI update every single day.
Maybe there's a check-on-startup that's superceding check-weekly?
Is there some other setting I need to look for?

UniGetUI still prompts to install an AWS CLI update every single day.

The weekly timeout starts when UniGetUI is launched, and UniGetUI gets restarted when you restart your pc

What about other periods, like 3 days? Are all of them resets on pc reboot?
