I don't think support for WinGet Config will come in the near future, but I don't discard the idea. |

UniGetUI has been a game-changer for me having used all kinds of package managers. One feature that would be super awesome is applying a desired state configuration to the system. I have a background in configuration management (puppet, chef, ansible) and recently had to migrate to a new laptop for work. Worse, I had to jump from Windows 10 to Windows 11. While I was able to easily create a UniGetUI Package Bundle to get all the software I needed installed and managed on the new laptop, 95% of my effort shifted to reconfiguring the settings for Windows and transferring app configs/settings/docs/files/etc. I missed dearly the ability to write a declarative state so the Next Time I have to do this won't be so painful.
I understand this is probably out of scope of a package manager's package manager, but are there plans to incorporate declarative state features, perhaps using WinGet Configuration?
Admittedly, I only just discovered WinGet Configuration and have some of my own research to do, but so far this looks like the best candidate I've seen in a long time.
