This is likely to happen due to Edge and Chrome autoupdating on the background, and then the installer failing because the update already happened |

hmm, no. they fail, and then I go to, for example Chrome, check
setting->help->about, see that there's an update available, let it
download, and restart Chrome. in other words, no update was pending or in
progress when I attempted to use the package update method in UniGetUI.
has anyone else had this issue?

i can update them manually, but is there anything i should be aware of which might be preventing the UniGetUI/Winget package manager from updating them? is this a known issue?
i've not (or only very rarely) had this problem with other packages; however, Chrome and Edge always fail, repeatably.
