Sync settings and friendlier release notes

I think would be interesting to sync the settings on the gist files. I love the ideia of installing things and they remember the settings, so I don't have to reconfigure all again (I don't see the need to save experimental options to be fair).

On the release notes, it opens the release notes of the github project and that is cool for us developers, but I think about less tech savvy
people who want to read that.
