Keyboard input to go to artist

Part of a list of smaller enhancements, which I think could help polish the app:

Allow keyboard input to go to artist in artist view

While in artist view, typing the first letter(s) of an artist should highlight the artist.

This is currently a minor inconvenience when searching for artists/albums/songs and one wants to stay in artist view

Not sure how I feel about this one. I understand the struggle for sure, and that's why I initially added this group by letter feature, but I understand it may not be enough for large libraries.

At the same time I do not want to add an search input just for artists.

I'll keep that in the back of my head to think about the right way to solve that.

I think I get what you mean, but the way I would see this pan out is:

• simply typing one or more letters on the keyboard moves the user to the next fitting artist in the list, without using the search bar / feature
• typing into the search bar or using ctrl+F actives the search filter

Currently typing on the keyboard without using the search bar has no effect. The way described above is how it works in Apple Music and to me it always seemed quite intuitive (I don't like having to mention Apple's way of doing things so often, but I do realise they put some thought into it)
