The linter checkmate/makefile is not installing?

Hello,

For some reason the linter checkmate is not installing. I have also tried makefile.

I have tried:

:MasonInstall checkmate

I get these errors:

mason.nvim ERROR "checkmate" is not a valid package. 
mason.nvim ERROR "makefile" is not a valid package. 

Here is my LazyVim plugin:

Error:

mason-registry/init.lua:80: Cannot find package "checkmate".  

For now I have been working with the defaults for Makefiles.
