What is the current behavior?
We do not currently have a unified set of motion variables. We would like to create an animation SCSS file. Within that file, we should set up transition variables and those should be built based on the other motion variables for type of transition, duration, etc. We would like to begin this process with a proof of concept using the MDL buttons and subtle transitions for them.
