[BUG] CodeQL process fails to build the project

CodeQL is trying to build the XCode project, but fails (see here for example.

We are not managing to understand what is happening here, as the project builds correctly in our other workflows.

@aokj4ck by any chance, is this something you think you could look at?

I believe we need to change the action to manually build the binary before launching the CodeQL process, as per https://docs.github.com/en/code-security/how-tos/scan-code-for-vulnerabilities/manage-your-configuration/codeql-code-scanning-for-compiled-languages#building-swift
