npm install and export icons to vendor folder

I would like to use this package in my laravel application and use the icons https://github.com/PKief/vscode-material-icon-theme/tree/main/icons to determine the upload type on my laravel application.

Is there a way I can npm install this package and export the vendor/icons only?

Reason why I want to install it so I can keep the icons up to date.

Is this possible can someone please provide with commands if possible?

There was a feature request this year and it was successfully implemented as an NPM package. So I'm glad to tell you that you can install the icons with this command:

npm install material-icon-them
