/me does not do what's expected

A message starting with `/me` just effects in slightly graying out the message text (barely noticable). From ye olde IRC days I'd mainly expect it to be displayed without colons after the name.

E.g. the message `/me liked IRC` 
currently renders as `Tabis Kabis: liked IRC`
expected: `Tabis Kabis liked IRC`
