When running a playbook creates a new channel

Hello,
When using the Mattermost API to run a playbook it creates a new channel. Through the UI is possible to attach a run to a already created channel.

Is this a possibility through the API as well?

yes, you can add the channel ID "channel_id" of the existing channel as a parameter :)
