4.8.x is no longer supported. It takes a lot of effort to maintain 3 different platforms' worth of versions, let alone having to maintain a whole other version that is meant for older computers. Vista can resort to using this to get Python 3.9 and later to work, enabling support. |

I'm dropping these two old versions of Windows from any newer, bigger releases, because f-strings break compatibility with Python 3.4. Additionally, macOS is also affected. So, because f-strings require Python 3.6 or later, the new compatilbility requirements for Windows and macOS are below:
Windows XP and Vista users, you can now download the final release, 4.8.1, here. The 4.8.x releases will still be supported for a while with bugfixes and small feature updates.
