Thanks for the bug report - no, this isn't how it's supposed to look. It looks like Aloxaf/fzf-tab has sets some zstyles that ez-compinit wasn't respecting and it overwrote them. I pushed a fix, so if you run antidote update you should get the lastest. ALSO, please be sure to set your zstyle ':plugin:ez-compinit' 'compstyle' 'zshzoo' prior to calling antidote load, because if you set zstyles after, the plugins won't see the value as having been set when they load. Prior to this most recent commit, setting this particular style after loading would have worked for you, but that wasn't correct and with the fix I just pushed it will no longer work.

Apologies for commenting on a closed issue. I am in the process of switching to antidote from zinnit to simplify my Zsh setup.

The problem the OP describes persists:

I am also using ez-compinit:
zstyle ':plugin:ez-compinit' 'compstyle' 'zshzoo'

According to: https://github.com/Aloxaf/fzf-tab#configure

# NOTE: don't use escape sequences (like '%F{red}%d%f') here, fzf-tab will ignore them
zstyle ':completion:*:descriptions' format '[%d]'

If I manually comment the lines below in compstyle_zshzoo_setup:

# zstyle ':completion:*:descriptions' format ' %F{purple}-- %d --%f'
# zstyle ':completion:*' format ' %F{blue}-- %d --%f'

And add zstyle ':completion:*:descriptions' format '[%d]' in my .zshrc file

Is this something that can be solved within ez-compinit or via Zsh configuration?
