RemoteID Check for Operator ID is not performed

Description

Expected Behavior
Entering the Operator ID in according field at Application Settings -> RemoteID
QGroundControl checks the ID, removes the "secret" and flags the ID as "Valid"

Current Behavior
After entering the Operator ID in according field, it seems that the check is not performed, see attached screenshot.

Steps To Reproduce

Additional Details
Check works on QGroundControl 4.4.5
Check stops working from QGroundControl 5.0 onwards up to the latest Version
Check doesn't work on MacOS 26 as well as Windows 10 with QGroundcontrol 5.x.x
It doesn't matter if the Operator ID is pasted or typed
Hitting enter oder leaving the field with the cursor also don't change the behaviour.

For me it seems, as if the routine to check the operator ID is not called.

This OperatorID check is based on PR #11993 (I assume). In talks with @aWo-git, we discovered that this functionality is broken in QGC 5.0. Can you have a look @julianoes @DonLakeFlyer?

I fixed it here: #13817 but it hasn't been part of a release. I suggest we make a 5.0.9 where we backport it? @HTRamsey
