Crash with v2.0.0 and react-native 0.61.5

When I use react-native-modalbox version2.0.0 on an app built with RN 0.61.5, the app crashes with the following error message:

Invariant Violation: Element type is invalid: expected a string (for built-in components) or a class/function (for composite components) but got: object.

Check the render method of `MyComponent`.

MyComponent is the component that encloses <Modal>.

If I change back to 1.7.1, the error goes away. I use several modals throughout the app, they all have the same behaviour.
I have not been able to isolate where exactly the error is happening yet, as the error message is too vague.
