Loading previous tabs on startup

Firefox crashes fairly often for me (at least once a week).

When this happens, I use the "restore session" button within firefox after starting it back up.

The problem is, all the tabs that I had previously loaded, are now unloaded, and I have to manually click on each one to load it.

The same thing happens if I simply open a snapshot... all of the tabs I had loaded, are now unloaded.

Is there a way to automatically load the previously loaded tabs on startup and/or when opening a snapshot?

In about:config change browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand to false. Depending on how many tabs you have this will crush your browser though.

I would investigate why it's crashing though. I haven't had a crash on any device in literally years and I run a ton of extensions with hundreds of tabs. You might be better off just creating a whole new Firefox profile from scratch to prevent crashing all together rather than trying to work around the crashes.

I wish there was a way to figure it out, but it never produces any usable information, even though I have the debug libraries installed.

Yeah, that's not good. I would definitely delete everything and start a new Firefox profile from scratch. Maybe try it first with Firefox Sync or copying over key files, and if that still crashes, then wipe it entirely and set everything up fresh.

Just to update... apparently my crashes are due to the "Vmin shift" CPU defect in Raptor Lake processors, so I'm working my way through the warranty process now.
