Is Wordpress a requirement to use the ecommerce ?

the question is rather to the point, but I will elaborate - I do not use, nor have any intentions to ever use Wordpress. But I am wanting to utilize Material/Bootstrap in my angular project which is an ecommerce project.. thanks

Short answer will be no. There is no need to use Wordpress. But to use MDBootstrap with Angular you need to use dedicated Angular package.
