📣 Migration from Yarn to npm on December 1

Hey everyone! 👋

We’ll be migrating mdn/content and mdn/translated-content from Yarn v1 to npm on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 12:00 UTC.

Until then, please continue using yarn for installs and development.
After the switch, you’ll need to use npm instead.

This change will help us simplify our setup and align with the rest of the MDN repos.

TL;DR

• ⏳ Before Dec 1 → use yarn
• ✅ After Dec 1 → use npm
• ⚠️ Avoid running npm install before Dec 1 (it’ll create a package-lock.json)
• ⚠️ Avoid running yarn install after Dec 1 (it’ll recreate yarn.lock)
