jenkins chef plugin does not accept the license

When building jenkins pipeline with chef plugin,
Failed in branch cookstyle when running command "chef exec cookstyle . --format progress"
Error message: Chef Workstation cannot execute without accepting the license
Looks like the chef plugin does not accept the license so we have got to run the chef command on the Chef Workstation and accept the license once before chef command can be executed on the jenkens...

Hi. Sorry, I am not quite follow. How does that issue relate to the plugin itself? Could you please provide a full log of plugin's run?

I don't see from the log, that you run chef-client plugin. Are you sure that you use this plugin?

our pipeline runs 'chef_cookbook_cookstyle()' just fine on our Unix slave, but not on our Windows slave. Since plugins are installed on the master, shouldn't things also work on Windows?

Sorry, still don't understand how all that relate to chef-client jenkins plugin?

1. I don't see any evidence from you logs that you've ever run the plugin.
2. The only mention of chef run here is chef exec foodcritic and chef exec cookstyle that has nothing to do with chef-client jenkins plugin which run chef-client not the commands mentioned here.
3. Have you read the plugin documentation and do you understand what it is?
