Potential resolution... opened a terminal window and grabbed a few items directly via winget command line myself ... when I later went back into Winhance it seems it's now also working via the app UI, winget console output is showing, external apps are installing without any apparent problem. Must have shaken something loose. Go figure. Regardless, all good now. 🤞 |

Hi there, first time user of Winhance so am assuming PEBKAC.
I have just installed a fresh clean Windows 11 Pro with local account via Rufus, installed drivers etc ... then installed and run Winhance, importing recommended config. All went well except External Software ... when I try to install any selection I appear to get no connection to winget, there's no console output to the UI and the operation always just ends with an 'Install Operation Failed' dialog. Doesn't matter if its one item or many. No other apparent issue on the PC, internet access is fine (via manually installed Brave Browser). Any thoughts on what I've done wrong / how to troubleshoot? Many thanks in advance.
