Buffer View Jumps When Typing a Closing Bracket in Meow Insert Mode

When I type a closing bracket while the cursor is positioned right next to it, the entire buffer view shifts so that the current line with the cursor moves to the top of the buffer. Although the cursor remains in the correct position, this behavior disrupts my workflow. This happens also when I enter and exit the insert mode while on a line with a closing bracket and when I type any closing bracket.

How can I stop this behavior and prevent the buffer from shifting?
