Modal ISearch

Hi, thanks so much for meow. It has improved my Emacs editing experience by so much! I use ISearch for search/replace/etc. But it is quite jarring to use with meow as once I am in ISearch mode, I have to start pressing control- keybindings. Has anyone found a way to combine the various ISearch-mode bound commands to meow's modal interface? Thanks!

If you come from the vim world, you probably notice that vim does "search" differently from how emacs does isearch. Also, I don't think one mode dedicated to iSearch is ergonomic, and it might be difficult to implement, which would not even be worth it.
