QWERTY example possibly outdated

I tried using the meow-setup function shown in KEYBINDING_QWERTY.org but i got an error saying that meow-motion-define-key does not exist.

• Using meow-motion-define-key gave me a nil function error
• Using meow-motion-overwrite-define-key worked

Could it be that the example is out of date?

I think your installation is out of date. this change was introduced in #705 (merged 25-01-30)

Sorry, I'm new to emacs.
I just installed meow from Melpa, as the Get Started page told me to, and I believe it has to be up to date. The version in the Melpa repositories is 20250904.1606.

Which package manager do you use? It's possible that there's some caching happening (?), or maybe the package manager is cloning the repo and then checking out the latest tag instead of master (iirc straight has a tendency to do this)? I'm not familiar with how the package managers work. In that case we should really make a new github release.

I don't think so? I'm using the default one (I believe it's package.el). Weird how I'm the only one experiencing this.
