Device support for Chatter2

Any chance of getting the Chatter2 device supported? I do not know enough about how to compile custom firmware for it. 
Basic support would be great. Extended support for its keyboard would be a plus.
Looking to try this project and have some of these devices sitting around. The older models available on eBay with red board. Most are modded with the heltec chip fwiw.
