Export/import private key

Hey there I was wondering how folks export and import their private (and public) keys for example to back them up. At the moment it looks like I can see and export the public key but I did not find a way to get to the private key, when connected via usb or blutooth. Is this a flow that we should support or how are folks doing this right now?

at the moment it is not implemented in meshcore-cli

But I've accepted a PR to export_private_key command in meshcore_py, so I'll just implement the command in meshcore-cli ;)

Command is get private_key

There is also an import private key command but it has not been implemented yet in meshcore_py, will do it ...

I thought private key import/export could be done with cli_rescue but this is not the case ...

did the import as I was in it and it's in latest pipx release ...

Thank you! Interesting, so it was not possible to backup an identity before? How have people done backups then or did this simply never come up? I'm curious if I'm doing something wrong or missing something in my workflows 👀
