A preliminary release of was to alpha testers. It was noted on the #touch Discord channel to be patient till end of month for release. The release does in fact boot on T-Deck+ and issues are being reported. You can gain additional insight from the Discord discussions. You might want to delete your post or edit title to reference your attempt to use an unreleased version did not flash correctly |

Hello,
I've been trying the latest Fancy T-Deck stuff today, and have not been successful with my Lilygo T-Deck. Based on what I understand, to build you select the t-deck-tft environment and build. After being built, you're supposed to flash the firmware.factory.bin while erasing the flash using the web flasher. So far, each attempt to get the UI version has ended with the T-Deck not starting up.
I am curious on what I am missing, as I have tried just about everything I could think of. Reviewing the PR at #3259, I found the last successful t-deck flash was
50ff6e456b3df722c1fa2b07080bd1ed92b2dc9d
, so I checked out that commit and tried it. I tried the current commit on the tft-gui-work branch, and I have also tried the current commit on the 2.6 branch.I have done some ESP32 development previously, but not much in the way of debugging. I'd be more than happy to help debug if someone can point me to documentation on doing so.
Thanks!
