Allow for Telemetry only via Bluetooth/App

I recently added an environmental sensor to monitor temperature/humity inside a node enclosure. I can access the values via the App/Bluetooth.

I do not need to have these values sent over the mesh. To save bandwidth, I would like to configure the node in a way that values are measured but not sent over the mesh. To have them available via Bluetooth is sufficient.
It appears this is currently not possible.

You can already adjust this interval with: telemetry.device_update_interval and telemetry.environment_update_interval, which are both units of seconds.

Nice. May I suggest a clarification of the documentation then? It reads

Default is 1800 seconds (30 minutes).

which led me to the expectation that it would transmit to mesh, although the app shows "0" as default. I assumed that "0" would equal the meaning of "default". Am I wrong and "0" means to not send the values to mesh?

I checked and the default setting "0" does send the values over the mesh. So although I can reduce the interval with the current firmware, I can't disable telemetry transmission over the mesh altogether. This would be nice.
The temperature inside a node enclosure does not need to be transmitted if I have access locally. Neither is the battery level needed for nodes with fixed power. This costs air time with no benefit in these cases.

It's pretty confusing, but zero actually is the default of 30 minutes for the interval. You'll want to set that value to an arbitrarily large number to prevent more frequent transmission over lora.
