That device has no PSRAM, thus not enough RAM for Wifi with newer firmwares:

Then how it works perfectly with 2.6.11 ?? Can we get rid of the hundreds of useless sensors variables and make 2.7.x functional for it ?

I tried disabling many compile-time features, but was not able to get wifi working reliably. It could also be that not Meshtastic got a bit fatter, but also the underlying Espressif IDF and libraries?

In the end I got me a Heltec V4 as my home client (way better radio and built-in button, too), and use the TLORA board for other stuff not needing Wifi.

Yes Martin I know that everyone chooses Heltec V4 these days but we cannot sentence those poor TLORA to trash bin .... Not sure if even USB-serial is working properly for 2.7.x ...
Do you have a fork for TLORA 2.7.x ?
