LV formated each time they are mounted (DATA LOSS)

Description

Since 0.8.0 (and specifically #132), volume is formated each time it is mounted, which deletes all the data.

I checked the output of lsblk (on the host) but found nothing that could explain this behaviour:

Thanks for reporting this. I just took a brief look at it and it seems like you pointed out the problematic PR already. I made a draft pull request to fix this issue in #142.

Please move on to v0.8.1 or downgrade to v0.7.0. We removed v0.8.0 from the package registry to prevent further usage of this version. If you want to give v0.8.1 a try (helm.metal-stack.io was already updated), please let us know when there are any further issues with it. Sorry that this happened to you, we will try to work with Release Candidate tags in the future for this repository and no pre-releases anymore, which should prevent releasing a helm chart by mistake on our side.
