I have even more ideas for gameplays. This could be more challenging and add more platformer/puzzle map types.
- Moving, opening gates.
I guess could be wooden. Or in desert, in pyramids could be stone.
These could block access to areas (caves), or just make you pick a different route to fly instead, e.g. near a npc. - Pressure plates.
So once you land on a plate it does something. E.g. opens a gate permanently or for a time, to acces another area.
Same if you put package(s) on it. Could be fun, e.g. put packages here, an area opens, get packages there, another etc. - Moving or rotating obstacles.
E.g. a wooden windmill fan. Or just constantly opening and closing gates, e.g. in pyramids or else.
Could be de/activated from plates.
Another use could be allowing to access a package or transporting it out of player's reach. - Fountains.⛲
New thing like the geyser but not deadly and so strong.
Just a nice, soft fountain, could be just by emiting particles. Adding a bit of force, so player could float on it, but not get thrown away. Let's say 2 (or 3) types: small - 1 tile high and tall - 2 tiles high. Possibly player could just fly fast through.
Also BTW, since this is almost same code: Fire🔥, also damaging player fast when close. - Wind areas.💨
A few tiles size, acting with force at anythning inside. Could have just particles to visualize. - Rain cloud.🌧️
A small cloud 1-2 tiles wide (or big 4x2 tiles), with own rain, that pushes down.
There could be also a dark cloud with thunder and lightning, paralyzing player for few seconds when hit.
Could have eyes OFC to keep with the game style.
These OFC, could be combined with new collecting game mode and timed challenge #150
