Optimization restart

I am trying to optimize the model using DDS optimization method with 1 -KGE opti_function. For running the optimization for several days, I am facing power outage issue, which is halting the progress. I look up for possible solution including optimization restart which was briefly discussed in #5 and #90. There was mention that the optimization_restart is not available for DDS optimization.
Is that the case for now too?
What would you recommend for carrying out optimization in this case?

I have used the last parameter set from "dds_results.out" as new parameter for further running the calibration.

• You can use a restart option.
• Alternatively, maybe you could try to reduce overall model runs to a manageable number like 1000 - according to my experience you can get decent model results. I hope this helps.
