Transfering parameters to another area with different geological units

Hi mHM team,

I have calibrated several basins to obtain different sets of parameters. Now I want to test those parameters on a larger area but this area has more geological units than the basin. Can you give me any advice on what should be the best approach for transfering the parameters from the smaller basin to the larger area, what should I do with the geological units that were not calibrated?

The best way would be to fix them to the default value.

ty @rohinikumar82 I ran the model doing this and strange results showed up at the annual mean GW level output. As you can see in the first image below, the calibrated model shows some artifacts.

Meanwhile the uncalibrated model, a default value (100) was set to all geo parameters. The image below shows a seamless transition in GW level.

What would you think about running the calibration at the basin level omiting all geoparameters and giving them a default value, and then transferring the basin calibrated parameters to a regional level?
