This feature would behave similar to macOS's dock, which shows recently used/closed apps on the dock on the right side with a separator, mostly sorted by most used.
Usecases:
- Quickly open apps that crashed
- A way to open apps that were closed unintentionally
- Keeps apps on the dock that you would otherwise not want to pin, say you are working on a project that required apps x y and z, so they will remain on the dock, without pinning them as you don't want them to be there after the project's done.
