In which cases is a ConversionErrorException thrown?

I want to handle the ConversionErrorException thrown while deserializing the the JSON request using @Serdeable. But I want to know in what all cases the ConversionErrorException thrown?

• Is it exclusively thrown in serialization and deserialization of the JSON request?
• If it is thrown in other cases also, it would be of great help if all the cases are listed down in which it will be thrown.
