Show expiry date of an external gift card

Hi,

We are using the Store Commerce app and are using external gift cards.

We want to show the expiry date of the gift card at the moment the user gets the balance of the card.

In my attached word document you can see the two screens on which we want to show the expiry date. If we have it on 1 screen then it's already enough.

I found a sample solution on Github that seems to add the expiry date on my first screen, but I can't get it to work.

The sample solution is located in the repository called "Dynamics365Commerce.InStore" and specifically in the location: \src\StoreCommerceSamples\PosExtensionSamples\Pos\Create\Dialogs\GiftCardBalanceDialog

Is it still possible to extend dialogs in the way the solution shows?
If not then is there another way of solving my requirement?
