Login POS with finger print scan

Hello All,
We are trying to extend the login to POS using the finger print scanning. As I understood from the below MS link for this we need to use a device and require to enrol the details first both in commerce database and HQ. I am not just confused about the design flow like we need to create a new form to capture the details of the finger print and then do we need to create a login form to login into the POS or do we use the standard login form.
