Command Palette

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the Command Palette (CP).
  2. Type sleep.
  3. Observe the title, description, and icon of the resulting menu item.
  4. If it shows correctly, backspace the text and type sleep again until the glitch occurs.

✔️ Expected Behavior

The search result for "sleep" should consistently display:

  • Icon: Sleep icon

  • Title: Sleep

  • Description: (Appropriate description for putting the system/app to sleep)

❌ Actual Behavior

The search result intermittently shows a mismatch:

  • Icon: Sleep icon (Correct)

  • Title: "Shutdown" (Incorrect)

  • Description: "Shut down the system..." (Incorrect metadata for the icon shown)

Additional Information

Workaround:

Deleting the search query and re-typing sleep usually forces the UI to refresh and display the correct metadata.

Environment:

Occurrence Rate: ~50% (Intermittent)
