How to use IAsyncOperationWithProgress<IBuffer, uint> in IRandomAccessStream

I'm trying to extend the functionality of the MediaElement in MAUI Community Toolkit to allow for System.IO.Streams as a Media Source and am running into an implementation issue.

Particularly with the method IAsyncOperationWithProgress<IBuffer, uint> ReadAsync(IBuffer buffer, uint count, InputStreamOptions options). Is there any examples that I could reference? There isn't any documentation I could find and the interfaces are too intuitive.

Disregard., The main reason for this question was to create a System.IO.Stream wrapper, but I've identified that there is an extension method in Windows.Storage.Streams -> stream.AsRandomAccessStream() that returns an IRandomAccessStream
