Azure AI Foundry: Classic vs New - Package Support?

I noticed Azure AI Foundry has two versions with different SDKs:

Foundry Version	Native SDK
Classic	Azure.AI.Agents.Persistent
New	Azure.AI.Projects

The Microsoft Agent Framework currently provides Microsoft.Agents.AI.AzureAI.Persistent which appears to target Classic Foundry.

Questions:

1. Is there a package (or planned support) for the new Foundry model using Azure.AI.Projects?

2. For new projects, should we use Classic Foundry with Microsoft.Agents.AI.AzureAI.Persistent, or is there a recommended path for new Foundry?
