VS Code Extension: Panel empty and update button does not work

Clicking on the Aspire icon the panel shows:

But the Aspire CLI IS installed:

Clicking the "Update Aspire CLI" button in the panel seem to attempt to update the CLI, but it fails:

Updating the CLI to the latest daily version fixes the errors in the console. So I guess it depends on a newer, non-release version of the CLI.

However, without updating Aspire sdk in the AppHost, it must not have the necessary bits to talk to the CLI. The refresh button does nothing.

aspire describe in the terminal return "no resources found" when the app is running.
