Is it possible to access Azure Container Apps with custom VNET from API Management not deployed to that VNET

I want to avoid using the Premium tier of API Management thus, keeping at the same time a private Container Apps Environment.

Is it possible to set the Network Security Group so API Management has access to Container Apps.

I already tried but so far I got BackendConnectionFailure exception with The remote name could not be resolved: 'serivce.domain-46026be0.northeurope.azurecontainerapps.io'.
