Yes, the schema doesn't support fully specifying the version. Can I ask why ManualValidation@1 isn't sufficient for your use case?

I switched back to using major versioning.

We initially used renovate which defaults to spelling versioning in full, there are also sometimes bugs or risks where you'd want to specify the version.
I'd think that full versioning should be supported independent of the reasons as its valid yaml spec but vscode tells me otherwise.
