Communication between Windows eBPF and WSL eBPF

Question:

In the future, would it be technically possible for Windows BPF programs to communicate with WSL2 BPF programs (assuming enabled BPF capabilities in WSL2)?

Answer by Alan:

The eBPF team hasn't looked into Windows eBFP -> WSL eBPF, but that is definitely an interesting idea. One of the challenges would be that the two kernel run in different virtual machine partitions, so I suspect communication via maps might be a challenge. It might be possible for them to share a vmbus channel though.

For transparency I don't actually have any idea in mind for this, I just was curious if it was technically possible, but I'm certain smarter people will find use cases ;D
