V9: What are the plans for HoverCard ?

What are the plans for adding the V8 HoverCard component to the V9 roadmap ? Its a feature we would like to add to our healthcare product that's used in environments where efficient, keyboard driven interaction is a priority. We will not use it if its being depreciated in V9.
