Are both the checkpoint and AOF log formats now stable and backward-compatible starting from 2.0.0-beta.1? So, could checkpoints and AOF files created in 2.0.0-beta.1 be reliably used to recover in later 2.x or future 3.x releases?
Or, would stability happen when 2.0 is GA?
I did find a related discussion, but it was focused on the timing of version 1.5 release.

Now that 2.0.0‑beta.1 is out, could you clarify:
