Problem with mcsslpp QuickStart

I have a problem when "creating the IMEX channels" according to MSCCLPP QuickStart (https://microsoft.github.io/mscclpp/getting-started/quickstart.html). I use a cloud server with H20*2 with NVLink.
MSCCLPP QuickStart says that I should execute "sudo nvidia-modprobe -s -i <start:number of minors>" while I don't know what <start:number of minors> means.

I try to execute "sudo nvidia-modprobe -s -i 0:32" and get :

"nvidia-modprobe: unrecognized option: "-i"
ERROR: Invalid commandline, please run nvidia-modprobe --help for usage information."

How can I solve this problem and use MSCCLPP?

Maybe refer this issue: #467. We need to update the doc for this....

I do follow the suggestions in #467 while it doesn't work.
I run "grep nvidia-caps-imex-channels /proc/devices" and get "237 nvidia-caps-imex-channels",
so I execute "sudo mknod /dev/nvidia-caps-imex-channels/channel0 c 237 0", but I still cannot run mscclpp.
Do I miss anything? My nvidia-modprobe version is 470.103.01, and my nvidia driver version is 565.57.01.

You could try to downgrade the nvidia-modprobe version. Using apt-get install nvidia-modprobe ="downgrade_version" might solve this problem
