SetSolutionVersion input expects a service connection type generic?

I'm trying to use the step "set solution version", but it's telling me:
"The pipeline is not valid. Job Job_1:Step PowerPLatformSetSolutionVersion input PowerPlatformEnvironment expects a service connection of type Generic, but the provided service connection "service connection name" is of type powerplatform-spn."
My service connection works fine on the other steps, so I don't understand the issue. Please help! Thanks!

This seems to be an issue when using the classic editor. It does not happen when using yaml.
