How to leverage auth in a chat app

I went though the AI 102 training, and it seems that this code is used when we publish an app in AI foundry.
If my assumption is correct, I wanted to know how I could leverage the authentication in my flow.
Two simple examples : 1) if I authenticated as John Doe, I would like to have my chat to start with "hello John". but more important 2) I would like to be able to retrieve from this auth the role of the user and then enhance the prompt. For example if the user is tech, ask the prompt to give more detailed answers.. and if the user is an account manager, ask for an answer with more stratetic advice.
So I wonder if you could help me to achieve this.
